David Gillespie is a singer-songwriter based in New York. Originally from Australia, he has called the city home for the past seven years.

His musical influences came from much further south. Embracing a sound somewhere between Nashville and New Orleans, his new EP Heathen Revival sits firmly within rock'n'roll; a sweaty mix of gospel, blues, soul and country. The focus regardless has been the songwriting craft: lyric and melody, conflict and (sometimes) resolution.

Heathen Revival is out 6/1 and is preceded by the single
When The Lights Go Out. The artist kindly requests that if you do play it, you play it rather loud.
